Whole Grain Oat Waffles
Hearty whole-grain waffles made with oats, coconut, and flax seeds, blended into a smooth batter and perfect with berries and coconut cream.

Ingredients
- 7 dl (3 cups) water
- 5 dl (2 cups) whole-grain rolled oats
- 1 dl (⅖ cup) whole-grain spelt flour
- 1 dl (⅖ cup) coconut flakes
- 2 tbsp flax seeds
- 1 tsp honey
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until a smooth batter forms.
- Preheat the waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Pour the batter into the waffle maker and cook until golden and set, about 3–5 minutes per waffle.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
Serving
- Serve warm.
- Top with berries and coconut cream.
Tips & Variations
- Adjust the water to 5–6 dl (2–2½ cups) if using softer oats.
- Add ground cardamom or ground ginger for extra flavor.
- Let the batter rest for a few minutes if a thicker texture is desired.
