A simple, homemade ketchup with natural sweetness from honey and a hint of salt — perfect as a condiment for burgers, pasta, or sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 200 g (7 oz) tomato puree
  • 1 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 80 g (2.8 oz / 3 tbsp) honey
  • 50 ml (½ dl / 3½ tbsp / ¼ cup) water

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the tomato puree, salt, honey, and water.
  2. Whisk until smooth and fully incorporated.
  3. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  4. Serve immediately, or store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
